Deadly Two Car Crash in Wilmington Leaves One Dead, Two Injured

A fatal multi-vehicle collision in Wilmington left one person dead and two others critically injured on the night of March 28, 2026. The crash occurred around 10:10 p.m. in the 2500 block of Anaheim Street. Los Angeles Fire Department crews responded to the scene and began rescue operations. Firefighters extricated two individuals who were trapped inside the wreckage.

One of the victims, a 35-year-old woman, was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Another trapped occupant was pronounced dead at the scene. A second woman, believed to be approximately 40 years old, was ejected from her vehicle during the crash. She also sustained critical injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased victim. Preliminary information indicates that one of the vehicles involved was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed. That vehicle collided with another car traveling in the same direction along Anaheim Street. The force of the crash caused both vehicles to strike a third vehicle parked nearby.

Video evidence suggests the parked vehicle was a semi-truck. Investigators are continuing to review the circumstances leading up to the collision. It remains unclear whether impairment or other factors contributed to the crash. The incident remains under active investigation as authorities work to determine the cause.
