A serious rollover crash in Fullerton was captured on a residential doorbell camera over the weekend. The collision occurred shortly before 6:30 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Valencia Drive and Courtney Avenue, according to the Fullerton Police Department. Video footage from the area shows a passenger vehicle striking a pickup truck while the truck was attempting to turn at the intersection. The force of the impact caused the pickup truck to overturn onto its side in the middle of the roadway.
Emergency crews quickly responded to the scene to assist the occupants involved in the crash. Firefighters reported that two individuals became trapped inside the wreckage and required rescue efforts. First responders were able to free the occupants by removing them through the vehicle’s windshield. In total, three people were transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment following the accident.
Authorities have not released information regarding the severity of the injuries sustained in the crash. Investigators also confirmed that alcohol or drugs were not believed to be factors in the collision, and no arrests were made in connection with the incident.
