Ryan is a passionate advocate for his clients. His determination and refusal to back down to some of the largest insurance companies in the world have helped him secure well over nine figures in settlements and verdicts, including multiple eight-figure recoveries, for injured clients. His areas of practice include auto accidents, wrongful deaths, premises liability, product liability, habitability, dangerous conditions of public property, workplace injuries, construction site injuries and more.
In 2024, Ryan helped secure a $6.3 million jury verdict that ultimately resulted in more than $9 million paid on behalf of an elderly woman who was seriously injured after falling down a dangerously neglected staircase near downtown Los Angeles.
Ryan is a true trial lawyer. He has tried more than ten cases to verdict and intends to spend the rest of his professional life in court trying meaningful cases for deserving clients. Two of Ryan’s full trials are publicly available to be watched on the internet via the website Courtroom View Network (CVN). Ryan is a graduate of the Gerry Spence Method for Trial Lawyers, has spoken at legal conferences like CAALA and Trial Lawyers University and has been published in CAALA’s Advocate Magazine.
Ryan also serves on the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers’ Charities (LATLC), where he plays an active role in fundraising and community outreach, including organizing an event following the deadly forest fires in Los Angeles that raised over $60,000 for fire-relief efforts. Ryan is also a proud supporter of Friends of Kids with Cancer, an organization close to his heart as a childhood cancer survivor. Ryan has wanted to be a trial lawyer his entire life. His first mock trial coach was his father, in seventh grade. From that point forward, he competed in mock trial programs and pursued litigation at every stage of his education.
Ryan attended UCLA and then New York Law School, where he graduated at the top of his class, received the New York Trial Lawyers Alliance Award for Trial Advocacy, was President of the Student Bar Association, a member of the Law Review, Trial Advocacy Team and Moot Court Association. Following law school, Ryan spent years working alongside seasoned trial lawyers at top personal injury firms in Los Angeles, before joining forces with his parents at the Medler Law Firm.
Ryan looks forward to many more meaningful wins for his clients and their families in the future.
