Tammy Medler is a trial lawyer with more than 35 years of experience handling complex personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Her practice focuses on high-stakes cases involving catastrophic injuries, workplace and automobile accidents, and other matters where individuals and families have been seriously harmed by negligence of others.
Tammy is a founding partner of the Medler Law Firm, which she formed alongside her husband and law partner, John Medler. Together, they have spent decades litigating cases on behalf of injured clients, securing significant verdicts and settlements through disciplined preparation and trial-focused advocacy. In 2025, Tammy and John were proud to be joined in their practice by their son, Ryan Medler.
Tammy has worked on numerous cases for the firm resulting in million dollar recoveries. Her legal career began clerking on the Missouri Court of Appeals, before later practicing at a large defense firm. That experience gave her a deep understanding of how insurance companies and corporate defendants evaluate risk, develop defenses, and prepare cases for trial. In 1997, Tammy made a bold decision to leave defense work behind, recognizing that her skills were better suited to representing individuals and families in need. Since that time, she has devoted her practice exclusively to representing plaintiffs.
Tammy’s background on both sides of the courtroom allows her to anticipate and dismantle defense strategies with precision. She is known for her meticulous case preparation, strong legal writing, and ability to hold corporate defendants accountable by exposing weaknesses in their defenses.
