Killed in Motorcycle Crash: Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach

A fatal motorcycle collision occurred on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach on March 29, 2026, resulting in the death of a 28-year-old rider. The crash took place just before 4 p.m. at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and 24th Street in the Sunset Beach area. According to authorities, the collision involved a motorcycle and a Toyota Camry.

Preliminary findings indicate that the Camry, driven by a 19-year-old, was exiting a parking lot and attempting to turn southbound onto Pacific Coast Highway. During this maneuver, the vehicle collided with the oncoming motorcyclist. The force of the impact caused the rider to be ejected from the motorcycle.

Responding officers located the motorcyclist lying unconscious in the roadway following the crash. Emergency personnel arrived on scene and attempted to render aid. Despite these efforts, the rider ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

The driver of the Camry and a passenger in the vehicle were not injured in the incident. Both individuals remained at the scene and are cooperating with investigators. Authorities stated that impairment does not appear to have been a factor for the driver. It remains unclear whether impairment may have played a role on the part of the motorcyclist as the investigation continues.
