One person was killed and four others were hospitalized following a three-vehicle crash on the 110 Freeway in Los Angeles on September 7, 2026. The Labor Day collision occurred at approximately 8:12 p.m. on the southbound 110 Freeway near the interchange with the 105 Freeway. Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and discovered multiple people requiring emergency assistance. One victim suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Four other people were transported to local hospitals for treatment of injuries sustained in the collision. Authorities have not released the identities of the deceased victim or the four people who were hospitalized.
Officials also have not provided information regarding the severity of the surviving victims’ injuries. The circumstances that caused the three vehicles to collide were not immediately known. The crash significantly disrupted southbound traffic on the 110 Freeway while emergency personnel and investigators worked at the scene. Traffic remained slow in the area as late as approximately 9:45 p.m. while authorities continued their investigation. Officials are working to determine the sequence of events and factors that contributed to the fatal Labor Day crash.
