A deadly two-vehicle collision in Palmdale on May 30, 2026, left both drivers dead at the scene, according to authorities. The crash occurred at approximately 10:53 p.m. near the intersection of 10th Street West and Avenue N. Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of a major traffic collision involving a black Lexus LS400 and a white Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck.
Investigators said the Lexus was traveling southbound on 10th Street West at an unknown speed. At the same time, the Chevrolet pickup was traveling eastbound on Avenue N. Authorities believe both vehicles entered the intersection simultaneously before colliding violently.
The impact caused catastrophic damage to both vehicles. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but both drivers were pronounced dead before they could be transported for medical treatment. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims pending notification of next of kin.
Investigators continue working to determine the exact cause of the crash. It remains unclear whether speed, impairment, or other contributing factors played a role in the deadly collision.
