A serious multi-vehicle crash in East Hollywood early Friday morning left at least eight people involved and sent two to the hospital, according to authorities. The June 19, 2026, collision occurred around 1:43 a.m. on the southbound lanes of the 101 Freeway, the Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed. Emergency crews responded to reports of a three-vehicle crash that included a rollover.
When first responders arrived, they found multiple damaged vehicles blocking portions of the freeway. A total of eight patients were evaluated at the scene by paramedics. Two individuals sustained injuries serious enough to require transportation to local hospitals for treatment. The other six people involved declined medical transport after being assessed by emergency crews.
