An e-bike rider was killed after being struck by an SUV in Santa Ana on the evening of August 11, 2026. According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the fatal crash occurred near the intersection of North Santiago Street and East Santa Ana Boulevard, close to the Metrolink station, at approximately 6:00 p.m. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and found the rider suffering from critical injuries. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead despite lifesaving efforts.
