Two Women Killed in Stanton in Pedestrian Accident

A tragic pedestrian crash in Stanton on June 1, 2026, claimed the lives of two women after they were struck by a vehicle late Monday night. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, dispatchers received multiple 911 calls around 9 p.m. reporting that a BMW had hit two pedestrians near the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and Cerritos Avenue. Deputies arrived at the scene and found both women lying in the roadway with severe injuries.

Emergency responders transported the victims to a nearby hospital for treatment. Despite lifesaving efforts, both women later succumbed to their injuries. Authorities said one victim was believed to be in her 30s, while the other was reportedly in her 60s. Investigators have not yet released their identities pending notification of family members.

Officials also stated that the relationship between the two women was not immediately known. The driver of the white BMW remained at the scene and was cooperating with investigators as of early Tuesday morning. Video footage from the crash scene showed the vehicle with a shattered windshield and extensive front-end damage.
