Hit-and-Run Driver Sought After Deadly Pedestrian Crash in North Hollywood

Police are searching for the driver of a white sedan involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash that killed a woman in North Hollywood on June 11, 2026. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the collision occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. near Victory Boulevard, Troost Avenue, and Lankershim Boulevard. Authorities said the woman was crossing the street when she was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound on Victory Boulevard.

Investigators say the driver failed to stop, identify themselves, or render aid after the collision. Instead, the suspect fled the scene, leaving the victim critically injured in the roadway. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded quickly and transported the woman to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment. Despite lifesaving efforts, she later succumbed to her injuries.

Her identity has not yet been released pending notification of family members. Police reminded the public that drivers involved in any collision are legally required to stop, provide identification, and render aid, and that failing to do so is a felony. At this time, no additional description of the white sedan or the driver has been released as investigators continue searching for the suspect.

At the Medler Law Firm, we are committed to helping victims of pedestrian accidents and their families pursue justice after devastating collisions. We understand that pedestrians often suffer catastrophic injuries because they have little protection against the force of a moving vehicle. Our team conducts detailed investigations to determine how the collision occurred and who should be held accountable.

In hit-and-run cases, we move quickly to preserve evidence, locate witnesses, and review surveillance footage that may help identify the fleeing driver. Drivers who leave the scene not only violate the law, but often leave victims without immediate answers or support. Even when the at-fault driver cannot be found, victims may still have important legal options.

In many hit-and-run pedestrian cases, injured victims may be able to pursue compensation through their own uninsured motorist coverage, which can provide protection when the responsible driver is unidentified or uninsured. We fight to recover compensation for medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering, and wrongful death damages, while handling the insurance process and aggressively advocating for the full recovery our clients deserve.
