A fatal motorcycle crash in Fullerton on May 22, 2026, claimed the life of a rider after a collision with a Tesla Cybertruck. The incident occurred near the intersection of Orangethorpe Avenue and Gilbert Street. According to the Fullerton Police Department, officers responded to the scene at approximately 3:27 p.m.
The motorcyclist was traveling eastbound in the number two lane of West Orangethorpe Avenue at the time of the crash. Authorities reported that a silver Tesla Cybertruck was traveling westbound and attempting to make a left turn onto South Gilbert Street. During the turn, the motorcycle collided with the side of the vehicle.
Emergency responders transported the rider to a nearby hospital following the crash. Despite lifesaving efforts, the motorcyclist was later pronounced dead. The identity of the victim has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
