Two Killed Two Critically Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash in Inglewood

Two people were killed and two others were critically injured in a devastating multi-vehicle crash in Inglewood on the morning of August 8, 2026. According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the three-vehicle collision occurred at approximately 8:45 a.m. near the intersection of North La Brea Avenue and East Beach Avenue. Emergency responders arrived to find multiple heavily damaged vehicles and several victims trapped in the wreckage. Two people were pronounced dead at the scene despite emergency response efforts. Fire officials said two additional victims suffered critical injuries and were rushed to nearby hospitals for emergency treatment. Crews also treated another injured person at the crash scene before determining whether additional medical care was necessary.

Video from the scene showed firefighters surrounding a heavily damaged SUV while debris from the collision was scattered across the intersection. Another vehicle, believed to be a Tesla, sustained extensive front-end damage in the violent crash. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims pending notification of their families. Investigators also have not disclosed what caused the collision or whether speed, impairment, distracted driving, or another factor contributed to the crash. The Inglewood Police Department and other investigating agencies continue working to determine the circumstances that led to the deadly three-vehicle collision.
